Multiple user names - 06-06-2006, 11:50 PM

OK there are a lot of names with shark in the titles. I know all are legit bar one who uses multiple names . I know he has two on the go in this forum, one being sharkyinternet and the other is Dean.

What is site policy on multiple user names ?

Please note that ddPoints fraud, such as creating dummy users, dummy referrals, dummy posts, etc. will get you permanently banned from the board without warning.
If this was his purpose, then he may be in trouble. If he just forgot his login details, then that's something else.

By the way, it was really funny reading your thread with the first 6 posts being made by one sharky or the other.

EDIT:

I'm not sure where these forums are hosted nor do I know the owners nationality but SharkyInternet is the talk of the town on at least one very high profile forum in the UK called Adslguide, it makes interesting reading...

He's also been banned from a fair few other forums for breaking the rules, sometimes on more than 1 occassion.

I'd think it's only fair to judge him by this forum's rules. And it's not upto us to hang him.

Feargal, this guy sounds so similiar to your friend in the "legal" thread. Running servers off his home line and stuff. I don't even see why that shouldn't be allowed.

Let the admin decide.

Ok time to come clean . I am here because me and some friends were alerted that Sharkyinternet was using these boards and as this forum is domain and web based we were worried that people might think he runs a repeatable company. If you read the links you will see our concerns, we would not like your site to be duped in to promoting this mans business and ruin your good name.

We tried to warn him off with hints here, but they feel on death ears . Thats why we posted a lot under sharky names , so he would get the message and leave this forum alone.

Read them links posted and do not let him in anyway promote his sites unless he can prove everything is legal . So far to date he has not said a word and the site has gone down till everything blows over .

Having a server is allowed but hes running a business on a home user account . Thats not good for customers who end up with no bandwidth and he should be using a business account . That tho is small fry to all the other things that are allegedly going on .

a friendly advise, if you sense someone bypassing our tos and creating multiple username use the report button that's the red button on the right of the star button and it will be investigated. Don't speak bad about everyone and in public. thanks.
