Thats amazing just imagine having a drive search or even a forumat, I think that would take a year to complete. Hopefully they develop faster processors aswell :P

Not really, you can "quick format". I don't know what it's actually called although.

still... if you do a quick format on a 80 GB drive and if it takes lets say 1 min to complete, it would take 111 days for a 12.8 petabyte to finish :P thats a lot!!!
