im having computer troubles

ok im having computer troubles.
The fan in my powerbox makes a realy loud noise and it not supost to do that. Also when it is like that it heats up teh computer really fast
curetly we have the computer upside donw (can use the cd rom drive) it does not do it when i is upside down also if we hit the computer it stops for a seccond

Anyone got any ideas what so ever on what is wrong and more inportantly how to fix it

try to check if the fan blades are still in tact or there are screws inside the fan box

Your power fan is probably loose. You could tighten the screws holding it in place, or replace it. While you're fiddling with it you might as well clean it.

ya i was thinking it was lose but what screws are holding it in place do i have to take the power box apart?
b ut i can garentee you the fan spins with out trouble

isn't a power box those motomaster thing if not it might even be that the fan is dying out ?

As everyone else said, the fan is probalbly loose, maybe even jammed, you may have to open the power supply up to have a look.

Make sure it's unplugged you have no idea how many people forget that.

and well ever sence my computer has been upidedown it has been working fine
but i cant use the cd rom drive

I can't think of any way to tighten the screws without opening your PSU but using your computer upside down is ridiculous. Since its working fine except for your cdrom drive you should probably invert your cdrom drive too. I've never tried it out but it should work.

na im to lazy to do that
and anyway i would move the computer
and the fan always starts again when i move the computer
