Hey what do you guys think of blogs, and making money with them. I mean can they draw in good traffic, I was going to use adsense, which I got a hole complete new redesign on my new website.

Blogs can make money, but they normally take time. You have to learn to monetize them and this can take some trial and error. If your site is authoritative then you stand a better chance in the long run. As for adsense making you a huge amount on a purely blog format well that is hard to determine as many sites do well with it on a blog layout, but the majority of them simply do not. Build your traffic and sell ad space and links to other sites once you have done this. This will make you more money in the long run then Google does for the average site. Do not misunderstand me because Google and Yahoo both can make you alot of money and you need to make sure you have one or the other, but do not plan on being an overnight success without the hard work involved in making your site work.

Im pretty new to this and i think im actually off to a good start ive got about 1000 uniques a day coming to one of my sites and im pretty proud of it only after about a month.

my question is
1. How does everyone make profit from their sites, i know there is the ppc ads and some affiliate programs, but what other tooks are out there?

2.How would i go about buying and selling websites, i was thinking about buying and pumping up and then selling but where woul di go aboutbuying and selling them?

Thanks for the time, and one more question I dont know if anyone will want to answer this, but how much do you make off your website in relation to how many uniques a day?

I am working at developing a Firefox extension that should be of interest to many webmasters.

The goal is to provide an alternative way to Search Engine Optimization for increasing traffic and site attractivity.

The idea is to allow webmasters without any knowledge in Mozilla development to create their own customized Firefox extension to give to users for pushing site news directly to the user's browser. All of this as a 5 minutes work without seeing any line of code.

The resulting extension will be totally free.

I am looking for webmasters to give ideas and opinions, and also for testing the resulting software (first version scheduled for 2-3 weeks).
