Its a great search engine, and I have a gmail account.

its great, use it loads, however they do seem to be creating all these new, pretty pointless offers and sites.

Google is amazing. I use their web search, video, gmail, groups, and earth. I haven't found a dissatisfied customer.

Personally I don't receive/send important stuff by email, it feels better having a hard copy. I don't think I'll be affected by the those things, and frankly, most of us average users don't need to worry about the stuff that Gmail is very creepy site talks about IMO.
