With nothing to gain, I wouldn't register. There are very little forums that are real communities that just talk for the fun of it.

I'd like to register in a new forum only if I'm really interesting on it but generally I hate the confirmation email of registration (I have to insert username and password of my email box and it takes too much, I'm busy )

Not really, because it depends on the person registering, some people may be a very active member at several forums and has no time to register
