What is Free Web Hosting?
Many Web Hosting providers provides web space to host your site without any free, this is called Free Web Hosting. In fact Free Web Hosting providers do not charge any money for hosting, but in turn they displays advertisement banners on your web site.
Disadvantages of Free Web Hosting:

• Free Web Hosting Provides displays lots of banners on your web site and they turn your web site into advertising machine. On your site many banners pop up windows frames etc. are displayed on your web site. This is very annoying thing for you web site.
  
• Since the Free Web Hosting service providers displays lots of adds on your site. They make good money, but you can't get anything out of that.
  
• The adds displayed on your site may be one of your competitor, so you will loose business also. So its very important to choose good paid hosting service for hosting your web site.
  
• Free Web Hosting Service providers provide very little space for your web pages. They usually provides 5 to 15 MB of disk space, so your site's expansion will severely restricted. Growing your web site above the offered quota would result in transferring to a paid plan offered by the same hosting provider or finding a different paid web-hosting provider. In both cases you end paying for your hosting and you might loose traffic to your web site due to changing hosts.
  
• Free Web Hosting Providers do not provide the SSL security on the server, so you can't take online order. This is also a business loss and the only solution to select paid hosting.
  
• Free Web Hosting Companies don't provide guaranteed uptime. Downtime through free web hosts is unfortunately very common. They don't care about the downtime of the server.
  
• If you host your site on the Free Hosting space, your customer won't rely on you.
  
• The customer support for Free Web Hosting Companies are zero, usually they provide very less customer support.
  
• Many advance features like PHP. MySQL, FTP support on the hosting space are not provides by the Free Hosting Service Providers. Usually updating the web site on Free Web Hosting server is also a headache and you will waste good time.

Hardly any of that is true. "They usually provides 5 to 15 MB of disk space," That's the most BS I have ever heard - the LEAST I have seen so far is 250mb which is quite adequate for me.

Because with a paid hosting account u are more secure i mean if u pay every month u don`t need to worry about your site , and u don`t have to worry that you account will be deleted

"Free Web Hosting Provides displays lots of banners on your web site" Whats this Carp? Just look for a Ad Free Provider! But its true some fre providers go down for about 12 hours from time to time but it is usually when your asleep.

That is a very bad piece if text, nowadays you get much more space than what they say, you get a lot more reliablity too, because free hosts want you to use their services (because of the competition). Also, very few free hosts have ads nowadays, and those that do are very unpopular

When did this article was writed? Because nowadays, some Free Web Hosts are more realiable and better than paid ones.. And some Free Web Hosts do not put Advertisements on your websites but you rather must post in the Forum or they just hosts us for totally free..
