I feel more comfortable with Windows XP but my Fedora gets the job done anytime and it doesn't lag or hang up like Windows. Windows is mainstream and Linux is not and that drags everything with it. More software, more hardware compatibility and more monopoly on the market.

I once conducted an experiment where I used ReactOS, OpenOffice, GIMP+Paint.NET, Nvu and MSVS Express and it worked very well.
