In this sort of industry, one company has to copy another, otherwise nobody will use their product. You could say that everybody copies one another, whoever invented the printer is being copied. It's how companies make money, and you have to live with it. I still back FF2 over IE7 anyway.

I still prefer firefox over the new IE, it just seems more natural to me as I've used it for so long now

No doubt that firefox is great, but the layout and user interface of IE7 is amazing. There should be a vote on it.

I love FF for the no. of addons they provide. Some FF addons reduced my efforts to a great extent which was not possible with IE. I loved most was the option to restore same session next time we start FF.We can have all the links we were viewing opend automatically next time web start FF

Re: IE7 vs FIREFOX 2.0 - 01-06-2007, 08:25 PM

lol i don't care what the arguments are cos i could go forever on firefox, i used to swear by IE but then i discovered firefox and at first hated it just cos it was different, but when i got used to it i decided it was so much better. the one thing that sways me most is the cascading stylesheets interpretation firefox does it so much better and is just coded better. microsoft coders are lazy, since everyone has ie cos its built into the system most wont change or even look for another browser so there is no motivation to make IE better. FIREFOX ROX UR SOX :P
