[resolved] Leaving post reputation

On the ddpoint system, what does "Leaving a post reputation: 1 ddPoint" mean? Like, posting once and never posting in it again?

That means you get 1 ddPoint for giving a reputation. You can give a reputation by clicking on the yellow star on the bottom left of every post. You can either approve or disapprove with the post.

so issit mean we can give reputation to whoever we want? or is theres any restriction to who we can give it? like people who can get a reputation should be at least have 100 posts in this forum.

Basically, you can give reputation to anyone, good rep or bad rep. But technically, the person receiving your rep wont get an increased on rep points if your reputation power is zero. How to increase your rep power? That depends on what admin sets. What i noticed is that new members will receive 1 rep power after having 50 posts. IMHO, ddboards reputation system needs improvement to make it more realistic and exciting.

hey thanks avril, u post had answer my curiosity haha. but newbie if they just giving rep. too other users. then it could be easy to earn bbpoints. well i guess 1 bbpoints. doesnt mean anything maybe..

The vB version has changed and now to give reputation you have to click on the "rep" icon on right side of the post under the word "permalink".
