Donation Acception, sort of a check

I don't know what you guys think, but maybe a delayed donation feature would be a nice one. That way, when a person donate's to you, you actually have to accept it, like with checks, someone gives you a check, you have to cash it. I think it would be cool if we could have that here, in the form of donations.

For example.
Present:
weblord donates 500 ddPoints to artoonie.
artoonie was offline.
Digital.X walks up to artoonie, and steals 499.9 ddPoints.
artoonie just got screwed over, and storms off all mad.

With this idea:
weblord donates 500 ddPoints to artoonie.
artoonie was offline.
No ddPoints were added to artoonie's total yet.
artoonie comes online
artoonie is notified, via a prompt, that the ddPoints have been added to his total.
This is when the ddPoints are transfered from weblord to artoonie.
He clicks ok and then walks off to deposits them in the bank, during which, Digital.X walks up, hits him on the head, and takes the ddPoints.

This way, I still win, but it gives people a bit of a chance.
Over all I think it is an okay idea, especially since I walk away with a win either way xD It will help make it a little bit easier for people to get the ddPoints they need.

lol nice idea but ur just screwing urself out of points dude, cos u may not be quick enough and u wud have to be watching artoonie a fair bit to know when he gets points and u can steal them. my friend and i do it in teams he steals and donates half or some to me and when i steal i do the same. :P

I totally agree. Users should accept donations when they come online. This way they get their points. No more risks

Yeh, I agree. I certainly do not want to lose points because of internet faliure :P

it is good to have more security over ddpoints.
but what happends if the someone steals the points? can the admin( or someone) find him and punish him and return the points?

And also why there is road for thiefs to run out

Wouldn't it be easier if the donations went straight to bank, that way there is nothing that could go wrong...?

Stealing donations even sounds so wrong... Like someone stealing from the war orphans fund or from the world food programme.


So, I think donations should go straight to bank. Thieves would still have their chances with other members' hard earned money.
