It might be more practical if the registrant is willing to sell it less than $1,500,
which is how much it costs to file a Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
And this is only for extensions that agreed to be bound by this policy, namely
the gTLDs and a few country code extensions.
Even if you can demonstrate trademark rights, it doesn't necessarily give you
an edge if the other party is prepared to show they're not infringing it, more
so if their rights pre-date yours. Trademark infringement "cases", like any legal
dispute, are fact-intensive.
There is a difference between protecting your brand and taking something not
belonging to you.
