If a domain is registered by someone else but when visited all that shows up is ads and no content what does that mean. Is that how it is supposed to be or does that mean the domain is available for purchase? Thank you for your reply.

you can check if domain is available via whois.sc or using the official whois of DomainRightNow Low cost domain names, domain transfers, web hosting, email accounts, and so much more.

It just means the site is parked, usually meaning its for sale.

and it would be quite difficult since you'd be dealing with the owner directly (can be really pricey)
