gmail isn't original to check www.gmail.net they had that name centurys before google but i think people are smart enough not to sue google btw they are listed as 1 of the best companys so they have to money to buy huge good advocats

it is suprising not to see google begin sued
but it is probaly the same thing between apple(macintosh and ipod) and apple(some company that use to produce music)

most probably they did sue, anyone in his profession will try to protect their copyrighted material but google has more money.

They've explained what they did on their site.

They initially thought it would be a good thing and since they were a small company they didn't sue Google. But now the number of emails from idiots asking for help about Google Adsense is bothering them.

well, i think they should have thought that the site is not copyright and they can use the name adsense for google ads. now i dont think adsense can do anything ! and gmail is not taken its a name by google for mail !
