ok im new here although not new to websites/domains etc

parking is a new thing for me adn from what ive read so far it really doesnt seem worth it
it appears that you'll never actually make the actual worth of the domain back in a year

would it not be more worthwhile to just make you own page and put adsence links on? or to put a turnkey site on the domain or even a website specifically created for adsence links that you can buy

sorry for my ignorence | | | | | | |

parking are intended for domains with traffic and visitors already not for new ones, it's better to park domains when you got it from an auction, domain dropping services, those expired domains with like pr4 to pr7 are very rare, or with those domains with lots of backlinks.

yeah i understand that but wouldnt a person make more money by putting some actual content on it
even if prewritten like turnkey or adsence created sites that require no work or effort. any money earnt can go straight to you, no need to split it between another person

most people don't have luxury of time, and a domain if you want developed would require time, ads budget, hosting, scripts and software backend. so there are 2 types of people on internet regarding domains: domain sellers and domain builders.
however, snatching a hot domain and selling it upfront will make quick money and do it again, easy to duplicate.
well i agree with you as well, being me as a developer not more on a seller. i keep domains even if it's registered since 1999.

i recently parked a few domains that I had run as hobby sites. They had adsnese etc on them but never really made any money. I only parked them 4 or 5 days ago and they are already bringing in much more than they used to.

Domain parking is kinda gamble - not every domain makes money - I parked few of my domain to test - the resulted nothing - I don't have adsense account as whenever I apply for one - the reject my site and sites and sitesssss. Otherwise I prefer your own turnkey site with adsense code.
Enjoy! | | | | | | |

Well I gess that if you have a good domain name that you can pull alot of traffic to then I gess it is defently worth it. The average person dosn't know that your domain is being parked, insted they think it is a serch engine and they click the links. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
