Whats a domain parking place you would LIKE to get in.. - 05-29-2007, 12:43 PM

There are tons of PPC companies, but not all are created equal. Curious if there are any PPC companies you have your eye on? Some have stricter criteria that require you to own 200+ names, others require "premium" names. What's your experience? Are there any companies you have applied, but so far have not been accepted?

Wow I read through your topic twice, but I cant seem to understand what you are trying to ask, I am not sure if it is just me maybe some other people can't undestand.

Could you please repost it again so that more people can understand this, since it dosen't look like no one can understand your main question.

yes,

some with strict rule of having 10 minmium domain name like parxxxx,

some will suspend account without delay for a non-natural click like namexxxxxx.

so , now i put all at sedo which is really the best of all.

I have my newest domain, ilovemy.name, parked with the registrar I bought it from, Dynadot. They have a scheme where you can be paid if you allow the domain to be parked with adverts. I've just put it there until I build the site. Is that the sort of thing you mean?

I like NameDrive the best ... Seren wrote that Dynadot had a parking page with ads. Most registrars do this, but honestly any of the companies dedicated specifically to parking are going to give you a much better PPC and revenue share than will a registrar. The simple reason being that the registrars make their money selling domains, so they don't need to try to impress you or keep you on by providing you with a great PPC.

Cheers,

Lucas

Regarding what parking is...

If you own domains that you haven't developed, rather than having them sit around collecting dust, you park them with a parking company, NameDrive for example.

You sign up with a company, enter the domains you wish to park and we give you a landing page with a related appearance and ad set. For example, if you had paristravel.com parked with a company like ND(arbitrary example, I have no idea if paristravel.com is developed or parked), we would provide you with a page that is relevant to the domain (pictures of International landmarks, hotels, etc.) and targeted ads (such as hotels in paris, tourist attractions, Eiffel Tower tours).

The ad feed is given by one of the major providers, we use Google, and the domain owner is paid every time a visitor clicks on one of the ads. It's a pretty easy way to make money and, unless your domains are developed, there's really no reason not to do it. Registrars typically provide parking pages automatically when you register a name, but they don't pay as much as your targeted parking company, some don't pay at all.

Hope that was clear. I work with this stuff all day so I'm happy to answer any related questions you have.

Cheers,

Lucas
