Hey all, I introduced myself on the new member thread, but my name's Lucas and I work with NameDrive, a premier parking company. I noticed that there are a lot of questions floating around about parking, payouts, PPC, how to sign up, what exactly parking is, etc.

I can't speak for any of the other companies, but if anyone has any questions about parking in general, NameDrive and how to sign up, payouts or anything related, I thought I would start this thread to open up to any questions. So... anyone?

The cost-per-click (CPC) varies, depending on the countless factors that go into Google's algorithm including views, click-through-rate, Geo-Region of the visitor, keyword, etc. The simple answer: we pay as much as Google allows, and I believe we match or beat most in the industry. And we frequently optimize to make sure the CPC is as high as we can be.

Yes, we definitely allow targeted keywords. Because the exact CPC is partially out of our hands due to the reasons above, the keyword is really the best way within our control to affect CPC. We try to come up with a keyword that is general enough to get a wide range of ads, but specific enough that it will be high paying and frequently clicked. Also, we have a number of different headers and templates which make the page appear more targeted, driving clicks up.

I submitted 3 domains to brokerselect and they were all refused, I believe the domains are very good, and the Emails I got were automatic messages, so I get the feeling nobody really looked at my domains.

Sorry for the inconvenience. First, I want to assure you that someone always checks the domains sent in and personally responds. Regarding brokerage, because we have a limited number of brokers and a lot of requests, we only accept a certain number at a time. This way, we can really focus on giving each deal the attention they deserve and ensure that none of them slips through the cracks. I'd encourage you to submit them again at a later date, as then hopefully we'll have arranged a few deals and thus have room to begin working with a few new domains.

Also, I'm not sure if you've used our Park&Sell or Spotlight Domains programs, but if you'd like to sell in the meantime I'd recommend giving them a try. Both are running free at the moment and will give the domains you are selling free exposure on the ND front page. Also, it makes it very easy for anyone that sees your domains listed on our site to send you an offer. I definitely think it would be worth giving a try, and if you don't get any satisfactory offers you can try Broker Select again.
