Yes it does.
That's why instead of parking, I try to develop my dummy domains into blogs that "appear active" and then go to sites like sponsored reviews etc for reviews..
I earn much more via that.

Name drive bans people a lot.
A .com domain is roughly six dollars. About 3,000 ddpoints is worth a .com domain name. So really, six US dollars is the equivalence of 3,000 ddpoints.
Ddpoints are not only a point system used for free domain names, but also for anything you want to exchange them for, AIM accounts, Youtube accounts, and even accounts to sites that require money for free.
