Promoting a parked site??

How can I promote my parked site? It takes a long time for my site to be online, so I parked it currently.

you can't parking site are for those domains with existing Search Engine Optimization traffic already and type in but you can still promote it by word of mouth also parked domains rely on type-in traffic.

That answers a question I was thinking of asking. So it's pointless parking a newly bought domain then.

I did not park it for money. I want my domain to already get some hits when I get my site up.

That's not a very good way to get hits because parked sites don't turn up in search results so the only way they get hits is when someone links to the sites or types in the URL manually. Parking is for revenue, not hits.

When you park a page you'll get hits if someone types your domain name by mistake. If you want hits on an undeveloped site, you'd probably be better off using a basic 'Under construction' page, but if you do not have hosting then parking the page is an alternative.

parking is for domain monetization of domains with existing Search Engine Optimization traffic already not the other way around, parking is not to gain traffic but building, developing, advertising a forum, directory or blog domains is to increase it's traffic later you can monetized it either putting adsense on it, or receiving payment for advertisements.

one good example is namedrive.com a domain monetization and domain parking services, it's not even listed on google, either google banned it or namedrive.com requested delisted from google's directory;

If you'd like to get money for your parked domain, you might have to put out a couple of dollars first, but you will get it back with some extra. A site like http://www.tesasteamails.com you pay a price, and they will send your link to 3000+ members who will all click your link and most will click through on your site. Great service Tesas. Try it out...

EDIT: When I say a couple dollar, I literally mean like maybe $5. but you can get the name out there for less...
