How to Create Private Name Server?

I need to know how to create Private Name Server for my domain.
Are they free?
Any complete description of the work is appreciated.

Do you want to have your own name server like ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com?

Then you will have to use a computer to act as a DNS server. http://rimuhosting.com/support/bindviawebmin.jsp shows an easy way to do it with Webmin.

Also, I reccomend that you run BIND on a Linux Server. It's much more reliable using that platform. You will also need a computer on 24/7 and an ISP that will allow you to run servers using their connections.

ok first, to run a dedicated name server, you must have 2 servers with different dedicated IPs and they have to be placed at different locations. (ok i know only big comapnies do this, but this is the rule )

its easy if you have a domain, in the most of registrars you can create your ns for free... i tried in namecheap, enom and other, all they have this feature.
You put ns1.site.com > 75.69.123.80 and ns2 > 75.69.123.81 (example) the ip 2 have 1 more than the first

Really?
I have registered one domain from Directi and I didn't find any free service on there...
I Just find CHILD NAME SERVER and I read the tutorials that said I need to register Private Name Servers first and then they are usable.

also I have found that if I buy a Resellet account for hosting, then the service provider will give me 2 Private Name Servers for free. so it means that they will create two Private Name Server for my domain in their accounts... !!!

Just point the domain to the hostings ns servers and you are done .
