When you leave a page parked at your registrar, you are effectively giving the registrar free ad space and / or PPC revenue. May not be much for a single page, but when you accumulate all parked pages across all users, it is nice extra income for the registrar.

The quickest and easiest is to park with a provider such as sedo, as you will not even have to have a hosting package. To use your own code you will need a hosting package (or use a subdirectory from an existing hosting package you have, but then you may have to use domain fowarding and masking).

Essentially, when you use your own code, you are not parking any more, as you develop dedicated content, but that is probably a grey area in terms of definition.

I have a number of hosting packages but you are right that does involve some masking and i am pretty sure I read in the Google adsense intro that it would only qualify domains that were top level, no masking/subbbing.

But in order to qualify for the adsense wouldn't you first need to demonstrate measurable traffic?

You mean to tell me that you have to qualify for adsense? Adsense wont allow you to use them on your site unless you qualify?

Yes you need to get approval from adsense.
For my Personal Details on adsense check this out - www.earn123.info/adsense.htm

It is true that Google will check your site before allowing you to use the AdSense code. Once you have an account working you can use it on other sites as well, but Google may check again and you are at risk of losing the AdSense permission if you violate the T&Cs.

I would recommend you to send email to google whenever you add a new website where you will be keeping your adsense ads.
Which is Pretty Safer

It's not really practical if you have hundreds of sites, and I doubt Google will appreciate you sending them an email for each one. Google themselves said you don't have to get each site approved, but decide on your best judgement if that site follows the TOS or not.
