.com = 7.XX$
and .org .net = 9.99$ :S

Probably because they are pushing people to go for the .com now a days and not for cheap domains like.info the little extra cash gets you further etc. Good marketing stuff IMO.

And a .com domains are most popular, so there's no that many original domain names like in .net

yeah, not many .coms left that are good. with nobody buying them, they have to lower the price to get more purchases.

Well, I mostly find domain registrars that sell .com and .net/.org domains at the same price, like Namecheap for example. So, I truly couldn't tell. But with the posts concluding mine, I could agree with some of you.
