He is most likely a WWD Super Reseller. Super Resellers can sell the reseller program for a lower fee. They can sell the Basic Reseller and the Pro Reseller Package, but not the Super Reseller Package.

I am a Super Reseller. I can resell the Basic and Pro Reseller plans. However, I cannot resell the Super Reseller or API plans.

I think the API plans may become available to resold reseller accounts, eventually. But I think that the Instant Reseller Store is fantastic and I don't even bother with the API, anyway. You have to pay extra for the API afterall.

What I do, is I setup a web hosting account that I sold to myself at Domain Hostmaster (my instant WWD store) and then save a copy of the store default homepage (complete) as index.html, and then I upload it to the hosted account. Now I can add pages to this (links, etc...), but all transactions actually are handled on the WWD Registrar server, which is fine with me, as they are the ones responsible for it.

Alternatively, you can use the free page that WWD will provide you, but that won't allow you to add extra pages (like reciprocal links).

However, if you are really interested in reselling the reseller services, you should pay the little bit extra and sign-up through WildWestDomains.com, directly.

Personally, I don't make much off of my "reseller reseller" account (the Super Reseller account) sales, but as I am a Domainer and work/play with other domainers who are interested in such accounts, I keep it available and keep my fingers crossed. I have a friend using it and promised him that it would stay in business and he likes being under me and offering a few extra services to his clientele and customers.

Plus, he is always asking me stuff and I am a friendly face to deal with.

Actually they are sister companies, WWD handles domain reseller business but it doesn`t matter which one of them you use - same company anyway. Btw, perhaps you can find lower prices for reseller account here Resell Domains | Resell Domain Names | Resell web hosting | Resell e-commerce

I loved wwd, just not their pricing-even if you don't sell anything, you get charged.

You get charged on way or another You can find "free" reseller accounts but they ask usually deposit for around $200. So, it`s not better in case you don`t sell anything.

why they can't do normal links?
