Got the domains - whats the best way to Search Engine Optimization?

I have registered some keyword targeted domains.

http://wholesale-gifts.co.uk/ & http://furniture-wholesaler.co.uk/ and would like to hear some suggestions on how to Search Engine Optimization them.

I would like to be in the top 3 in google.co.uk for 'wholesale gifts' and 'furniture wholesaler' respectively without paying for links as I have no budget to spend until the sites are earning revenue.

I believe I have registered good domain names for my targeted searches but need to know what to do to Search Engine Optimization them on a budget.
