If we go by the default rates, then 20 x 8 = 160 ddPoints.

And if you specify your own rates... say 10 ddPoints per post,

I got an idea for u to easy administrate the posts for each user. Add VBPlaza to your forum (or equivalent); set the same rates as here, and then the users there exchange their points there, for points here. Simple as that! Btw, this doesn't mean I'm posting.. Just wanted to help ya out a bit!

Sorry but I haven't got enough time.
In ddBoard itself, my posting rate has gone down to avg. 2-3 posts per day.

Excellent idea. Worth trying out.

But not right now. As not all users get ddpoints at the same rate.
some at 5, some at 8, 9, etc. ddp per post. This would increase the confusion.

Well this is the part where you act as the angry GOD *strikes with lightening* that would punish all for not obeying the same exchange rate.

Now, seriously.. you should make a poll there (or add it to this thread) so that all can vote for an agreed amount of points. Less confusion, easier work for you.. all WIN!
