[resolved] transferring domain to ddboard - 02-22-2007, 09:15 PM

Can we transfer an existing domain from another registrar to domainrightnow (ddboard's registrar) using ddpoints? I mean, can we do the same as ddboard's renewal process wherein we'll pay first for the transfer fee with paypal. Then we can refund/reimburse the paypal cash with ddpoints later?

atm ddboard.com doesn't support domain registrar transfer but only account changes maybe in the coming future, so all domains that will be renwed here via ddpoints needs to be registered on ddboard.com/domainrightnow.com

i will ask admin if he will accept old domains registered on domainrightnow.com

Thanks for the quick reply weblord.
What do you exactly mean by 'accept old domains registered on domainrightnow.com'?

for example if you have registered a domain directly on domainrightnow.com before learning about ddpoints and ddboard

So to be precise, renewal using ddpoints is available only for domains initially registered using ddpoints? I guess that's it, right?
Anyway, hopefully you can discuss this transfer/old domain issue with Karl (admin). Thanks again weblord.
