The guide to reputations and rep power About rep power:
1) Your rep number is affected by the number of posts. In DDboard, you will automatically get a rep power of 0 initially.
However, as you get more posts, your rep power will increase. In ddboard, once you get over 50 posts, you get a rep power of 1. (I'm not sure about over 50 posts.)
2) Rep power is influenced by reputation. Getting reputations from others isn't enough. The person giving you a reputation must have a high rep power himself/herself (rep power of at least 1: the person must have reputation points of at least 10, as well as have at least 50 forum posts). Each reputation adds/deducts a certain amount of points to/from your reputation. The amount of points added/deducted is proportional to the user's amount of posts, and reputation. Maximum amount of points that can be added/deducted from a user's reputation points is 10.
There are several types of reputations:
-Positive reputation (Green): Adds to your reputation points [see below]. You receive this if the user has a rep power of at least 1, and the user decides to give you a positive reputation.
-Neutral reputation (Grey): No effect on your reputation. You receive this if the user has a rep power of less than 1 (regardless if the user wants to give you a positive/negative reputation).
-Negative reputation (Red): Deducts your reputation points. You receive this if the user has a rep power of at least 1 [or have 10 reputation points], and the user decides to give you a negative reputation.
About giving reputations:
-You can give an unlimited amount of reputations
-If you decide to give a reputation to a user you have given a reputation to before, you may have give reputations to (10) other users before doing so.
-You can give a maximum of 20 reputations in a single day (24 hours).
-The amount of reputation points you can add/deduct depends on the amount of posts you have, as well as rep power [see above].
About thief and reputation:
-If you use the "steal" feature in DDboard, you may lose some reputation. If you have an unsuccessful steal, you would lose 1 reputation point. Over stealing will result in your reputation points declining to a certain limit [usually until "0"].
Rep power, in integers:
-10 (10 green indicators): Admins
usually have this.
-3 (2 green indicators): User receives a lot of positive reputations
-2 (1 green indicator): User receives a significant amount of positive reputations (probably 20 or 50 reputation points [not the same as rep power])
-1 (1 green indicator): User has at least 50 posts, and has little/no negative reputations. User's reputation points is at least 10.
-0 (

): User may have less than 50 posts. If the user receives a negative reputation, the rep power decreases to 0 if it was at 1 (if user have >50 posts and has no positive reputations). Reputation points is range from 5 to 9 [I'm not sure about this].
-0 (

): User may have received several negative reputations. Reputation points ranges from 0 to 5 [I'm not sure about this].
-0 (

): User received several negative reputations. Reputation points is negative.
-0 (2

): User received numerous negative reputations.
