Nice list, but I prefer hosting my forum by myself, using Fantastico for installing.

You learn a lot when you install a forum yourself, but CPanel is much easier for beginners and if there's very little time. But I think we're going out of topic now.

I don't understand. If it's a free forum host, how do you install mods on the forums which require you to edit the PHP files themselves?
