I have been using HostGator for quite some time. Below I will review their services.

HostGator

Uptime
I have been with HostGator for going on two years now. Throughout these two years, there has been no downtime at all. Absolutely NONE. They guarantee 99.9% uptime, and seem to hold up to it well.

Support
They have, by far, the best support that I have ever, EVER, had. They have 24/7 live support, and their technicians are very nice. They are very good at what they do, and are more than willing to figure out what you are asking.

Services
They support everything really. They have cPanel and Fantastico. Also, they support mostly any web programming language. The only one they don't support is ASP.NET, but they are getting Windows servers for that.

Overall: 8/10

Reason
I like them, but I have been waiting for Windows servers for a year now.

I've been wanting hosting there, however, I couldn't afford it for even a month.

Aren't they over sellers? I fear using hosts like this with their massive packages.

True, I also heard that their uptime is great! (Well most paid host's uptime is great)

hmm, though they oversell greatly, there are still realiable from my experience. i used to use them long time ago. never had a problem with them. recommended for simple sites.

I have also heared a lot of positive reply about hostgator and also it's affiliate program.I think it's good.

Overselling is not a problem with Hostgator.
They know what they are doing. And they manage the servers very well.

In the past 2 years of my hosting experience with HG, i can hardly remember any downtime.
A server uptime service i use reports about 1 to 1.5 hr downtime for last 1 year.
