You really should listen to this:

Do not buy/install Windows Vista before the first service pack comes out! Vista is now full of Viruses, and the "not crackable" system was cracked just 5 days after the official release! Microsoft just rushed it out to earn the money. You should also have a pretty good computer for it to run smoothly!

It will probably run vista, but not to the fullest. Meaning no 3D Desktop and all those eye candies.

I installed Vista on a virtual machine and I can tell you it is not worth it YET. However, when better software and DX10 games will appear, Vista will be an option. I believe I actually read somewhere that Yahoo! is working on a Vista version of their messenger that is very very 3D .
So it's going to be XP for me for another couple of months the least.

Windows Vista, i love the design but, i wount install it :P i prefer my windows xp xD

i am currently running windows vista ultimate 84x, and its working find although my computer is only like 3 months old, brand new just came out when i got it and had vista installed on it.

The thing i like in Windows Vista are the new vision and the support of DirectX 10. But i don't like it at all...

Not suitable for gamers imo ;(
