Worm IP's

My Norton keeps popping up that worms are trying to get into my computer. I jot down the IP addresses.

I go to the WHOIS at Network Solutions and see that both times yesterday from different IP addresses Asian pacific company was the IP address from the worm. Can you notify anybody about this? Are you supposed to contact them and ask them to desist?

I guess you can do that. I would send them a pissed off leter, that says take down the worms from your IP, they are trying to get onto my computer. and blah blah blah

I would notify everyone I can about this.

Report his IP and probably they will get shutdown... then again its Network Solutions.

The love of windows for you lol, I've not had anything like that happen in yonks, be easier enough to ban the addresses ranges, I dont think trying to attack the remote address would be a good idea, asking for trouble?

hi, the loopback is mainly used for tracking this type of guys.this time u deal it offically. just give them warning email, if they repete u have right to close take action and demand to close there company.

You can't correct a mistake with another mistake just contact the ISP and let them solve this for you

I use SyGate Firewall, and I turned off the much irritating alerts.. so I don't know if I am tried to be attacked.. But, BitDefender is much more better than Norton you know..

Report them and try get their site shutdown .

todays ips is very easy to change/redirect
i once send abuse to isp with ip that bug me like hell, that guy had hard
time explaining that his computer knowledge is limited to switch comp on =)
(he has some progy on hd that redirect attack from hacker to my computer),
gosh what a sad world we living in
