"Borrowing Songs"?

If you go onto a website like mtv.com and get into the pages cache, and download the music in the webpages cache, and upload the music on some other website, is it illegal?

(BTW: I don't know if it's called cache)

No matter where you are, using copyrighted content for distribution is illegal. It has to be noticed by someone. Let's say if you share cd with your one friends. Only you two guys using it, it can't be easily noticed. But uploading on site is public distribution which is serios crime,no matter where you are (In india also which is in South asia).
In India pornography is taken as very serious crime. The publisher soon trapped.

yeah i am in pakistan and i am freely allowed to use any copyrighted content or share it with my other friends .

It is illegal unless you have express written copyright buy the owner of that music, and have distribution rights. Therfore it is illegal. So I would say especially as you are in the USA not to do it.

It's illegal...why? because the copyrights, to use/listen that song you have to buy it first then you can make everything you want with that song.
