i was hoping that there would be a way in flash to detect when the print screen is taken. as soon as this occures the image disappears for a couple seconds. but i guess that can be countered by using a screen shot timer utility.

I think if the screenshot gets detected, it will already be taken.. I dont think there is a tool.. Well you could just use flash.. to minimize stealing if the robber is not resourceful enough

Ok I have a lot of solutions. First of all you can shrink the image or put a watermark on it. Second you can edit image hotlinking in cPanel. Not a lot of people can steal your images then.

one thing you can do, a method a lot of professional sites use, make a 1*1 pixel transparent .gif image and have your photo set as a background behind the tiled 1*1 pixel .gif. This way, if someone trys to copy and paste your image or save it to their pc, they just get a 1*1 blank pic.
