ok i've got a question for you guys.

Lets say a person had a refferals competition.
That stated the numbr of refferals you need for a certain item but did not post any information as to how much posts the person referred needed to make.
when i in turn complete the number of refferals they now say the people needed x amount of posts.
This was not stated on the competition topic.

Am i wrong to think i deserve my item when they are telling my that my reffered persons need x amount after i ask for my item? although they didnt state that the reffered person needs x amount of posts to qualify as a refferal count?

I don't know any "law" about it, but

I think that you should get the item. You didn't know that an additional condition needed to be met in order to receive the item. Only after you have submitted the item did you learn about this extra requirement. I would contact the person in charge of the contest and work something out.

I must agree with usingwindows. It is not your fault that you couldn't complete the offer because you were not aware of a specific requirement due to it not being mentioned.

did you read all the small prints and terms and conditions. This is normally the sort of thing they place at the bottom of a long list of terms and conditions that people don't read.

Thanks for agreeing with me. me801 did have a point, though. You should read the fine print (use Magnifer to read it

) if there is one. If I host a contest, I will clearly state ALL requirements, so there are no doubts.

[SIZE=2]fellas there was no fine print, it was the just the mistake of a stupid Admin that failed to mention the particulars of his offer properly. i hope that was a lesson to him & that 8 year olds sshouldn't even be on the internet.[/SIZE]
