Hi Legal people
i wana ask about a Remixing legal issue
Is it possible that i remix a song by adding just one beat in the whole ST and then sell it under my name..In principle it has been remixed isnt it

Yeah I don't think its illegal either, but I'm not 100% sure.

Its perfectly legal. You take the accapella of a song, and mix it to your beat. Record labels release these accapellas for people to mix them, like a promo.

just don't sell it. You could probably redistribute it, but only with the author(s') (whoever wrote the song, then whoever sung the song, then distributed, promoted, etc...) permission. (writen)

It's legal if you don't sell it because lyrics are copyrighted to author
