why do i have to give my personal info to have my domain registered? i understand its a private forum, but i don't want to give my personal info, even to weblord.

But this info is required to register a domain ...
Without this weblord can't register a domain for You ...
He won't use Your personal data for advertise or something like this ... You don't have to be worry about this

ICANN rules state that registrars must obtain accurate contact information from the registrants. Not doing so is grounds for cancellation of the registration.
