Only the first three tutorials have the images hosted on fileden. The other's have it from my website (they don't appear now becasue of what HimelHawa told me).
Also he did not actually give me a backlink since it is only text and not a clickable link. Also I would have given him permission to post some of my tutorials if he had only asked. I gave permission to other websites as well, but they send be an email with the website and kidnly asked for permission.

That is no back link there. it's only a text, but not hyperlink

Maybe you can put your small logo with sitename/link at some random position of each graphics , as an alernatives.
Most big sites use this method in our sides.

Yes, totally agreed,

it is good to change it periodically, most china people's great site will do iin this way.

ie a little extra work but ok for anti-leech scheme.

Sometimes you have to go beyond Search Engine Optimization. If someone recommends your tutorials, or the images advertise your service, you get more human-targeted advertising, which is what you're after with SEO in the first place.
