What is the legal obligations?

I am based in australia, so it might be different to other countries.. But what is the legal obligations for me as a hosting provider?

I purchased a reseller package and now sell hosting to the public, so what is my legal obligations regarding tax and such? can i get into trouble if i don't pay tax on money i make.. or what happens? thanks guys.

You should search through your government web pages, and see if there is something about this, you should also consult with experienced hosting resellers in your country.

Well, Australian tax law might require you to pay your taxes. Whether you're required to pay
your dues from your hosting business or not is something only a qualified lawyer, attorney, or
whatever they're called in your jurisdiction can answer.

Not sure, but think Hosting Companies do not need to be registried, so, not forced to pay taxes.

You don't need to pay taxes, yet. Once you make over $15k a year, you have to become a registered company, and thats when you start paying taxes.

It also depends on your age, by your username, I'm guessing you're not of tax-paying age yet?

my username is simply an internet alias i have used for many years. And yes, i pay tax from my part time job. I am 16.

Oh, over here, if you're in education at 16, you don't pay tax. ^_^
