Can you register a domain name for another country?

i.e I live in the UK. Can I register a domain name ( and use it) that ends is dk or any other country?

This varies by country. For example, to register a .DE domain, you need to have a German address. There are however many other countries that do not require an address in th countries TLD.

Usually these requirements are spelled out on the register's site. So when you try to activate a .dk domain, the site should tell you if you need to meet any requirement.

Obviously, you are not allowed to enter an invalid address, this would be in violation of the registration agreement.
