Use this form to submit a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Bureau of Consumer Protection about a particular company or organization. This form also may be used to submit a complaint to the FTC concerning media violence. The information you provide is up to you. However, if you do not provide your name or other information, it may be impossible for us to refer, respond to, or investigate your complaint or request. To learn how we use the information you provide, please read our Privacy Policy.
While the FTC does not resolve individual consumer problems, your complaint helps us investigate fraud, and can lead to law enforcement action. The FTC enters Internet, telemarketing, identity theft and other fraud-related complaints into Consumer Sentinel®, a secure, online database available to hundreds of civil and criminal law enforcement agencies worldwide. We use secure socket layer (SSL) encryption to protect the transmission of the information you submit to us when you use our secure online forms. Yep and I heard the FCC is looking to make an example out of any company operating online that isn't fulfilling it's part of the bargain, like Netflix. That might also cover defrauding customers/users.

Well, if they're dumb enough to flout laws they deserve to get punished and fined. With the flow of information the way it is today I'm surprised people don't bend over backwards making sure they do things that can't get them sued.

But then, people dumb enough to think they can get away with it don't see the truck coming that will shut down their website and call them into court, whatever country they are in.
