Does anyone know how to make an invision free forum becasue i need to make a forum for my socom 3 clan.

Also if you play socom 3 go to www.reconsoldiers.moonfruit.com to tryout.

Well I don't think invisionfree allows you to install your own forum. but if you mean installing your Invision Power Board (which invision free uses), I can help. Its pretty simple, just upload all the files, and then install mysql, next go to the install file where you input the information. But you can't get any invision power board forum anymore for free. they now require lisense (2.0 and above) 1.3 and below are free, but i can't find the link

Why get Invision Free Forum instead get phpbb and Mod it and get ur own site editiable instead of those non editable ****s :P

Actually IPB 1.3 is illegal to use from any download link available presently. The only way you can use IPB 1.3 is if you had already downloaded it from the IPB website while it was free. They specifically forbid you from using IPB 1.3 downloaded from anyother site other than theirs.

Anyway IPB 1.3 is rather buggy and there is very little support.

If its an InvisionFree forum that you're looking to setup, its as simple as registering and following the sign-up pages. InvisionFree is a forum hosting provider and you can't host that on your own. You have to use their hosting service.

Yeah, but doesn't IF use IPB 1.3?

In addition, IPB 1.3 and 2.0 can be used only as a trial, meaning that if you do have an intention to use them forever you should buy a license. Besides, they're full of holes anyway.

Well I have an invision power board that is retailed version! interested to buy from me! 1200 ddpoints! because I spend my money on that retail version and I am not using it right now!

Yeah, it says its powered by IPB V1.3 final but its probably recoded. Lots of forum hosters give out free IPB v1.3 which you could try out before you go ahead with buying the software if this is your first time.

I dont exactly know if thats legal but i would like to know what verson it is and how long theres left on it as well
