Question What is Rep Power - 06-29-2008, 09:30 PM

I just wanted to know what is the use of "Rep Power"
And what it means for a member because i saw that i have
Rep Power: 1

and some members have "0" while some have more than "1"

It short for reputation (If some one like your post they click Add to Rep the your rep increases )

Well You Must Check FAQ Section or Make a Manual Research on Why Such Things Are Commonly Used on Boards.

As Said by glengainer - It's Only a Reputation Power. Some one Increases Your Reputations If He/She Likes Your Contribution/Share. Also Remember, You Cannot Forcefully Ask Someone To Increase Your Rep Power.

Below is a Button Highlighted Wherein You Can Find Out How You Can Increase Someone Else's Reputation.

it helps to give people an idea of how reliable users are on the forum. someone with a good rep is most likely someone you can trust, while someone who has a lower rep you should be careful dealing with.
