Need Help in HTML Tables - 09-29-2006, 09:57 AM

I've been trying to figure out how to fix this problem, but it seems that I can't. XP

I am using a database that writes into mini-table boxes, and I need them properly lined up. I used two tables and separated a few boxes with td, but after reaching my blog size, the boxes didn't go into a new line and basically ran out of my blog.

Could anyone tell me how to make it so that the table boxes go into a new line when it reaches a certain amount horizontically? If you tell me a way that works on my page, then I will donate 200 ddpoints to you.

I couldn't find anything related to my question.

I've noticed that this may use MySQL instead. Does anyone know how to use MySQL to set a certain of boxes per-row?

What exactly do you mean by boxes? Fields? Records?

Also give us a link to your site to enable us to understand better what you're trying to do.

I am using Cutenews. My site isn't open to the public yet, so if you have an idea on solving this problem, please PM me for the link.

Here's a reword of this problem. Sorry if it is still confusing. I'm not good at wording problems. XP

Quote:
I would like to have Cutenews display articles that are side-by-side using tables. I have set it up in the template and the show page so that news added would do just that, but after the number of news reached the point when the blog that the include code is inserted (it has a set width), everything goes out of array. This is a practical thing when the width of <td></td> goes over the the width of the blog.

I've visited a few sites that has their script automatically including <tr> when it is needed. How would I go about doing this?
Update: I have increased the reward ddpoints to 200. I am rather desperate for this script to work out...
If you come up with the solution quickly, I will reward you 300 ddpoints.

Mod Edit: Please wait atleast six days before you bump your thread. If you would like to add something to your previous post please edit the post.
