I actually don't know what the bank is for and why there are these steal methods? I tried to look for it in the FAQs but I couldn't see any useful information.

Hmm, the Bank is basically a place where you store your money, but in DDBoard, it is where you store your DDpoints for it to gain interest. It's a 1% interest weekly.

Stealing? Well, for example I can steal your DDpoints for the equivalent number of DDpoints I have. If I want to steal 40 DDp from your I would need 40 DDp also. There's a 40% success rate. If I succeed, I get your DDpoints, if I don't I lost the equivalent number of DDpoints.

However, you could avoid being stolen from by depositing your DDpoints in the Bank. Think of it as an assurance that your points are safe until you request for your domain.

Hope I've helped ya!

yeah, you get interest plus stealers can't steal money when its inside the bank - its secure from stealers. it also helps you so you dont spend your money to easily.

Yes better safe than sorry, its just frustrating if it happens that you can't be able to check for your points and deposit to your bank and some thieves out there just have the right timing. Especially if you're 90% on your way for the free domain. Always deposit it to your bank.

You can use your points to offer an incentive to join your site or for referrals to other sites. You can also buy things posted in the exchange forum. We're in the process of offering more services for ddPoints and we'll post them as soon as the deals are verified.

Now I understand the 'banking system' and the 'stealing system.' I'm also looking forward to more services. You know, DDBoard is so great (imo) because it keeps answering my little queries about Internet life. More power!

I suggest, after depositing or withdrawing points from the bank, you have a message which says: 'Thank you for banking with us!' Hee hee. LOL.
