Links to site

What is the best way to get someone to link to your site on theirs? I guess it's rude to email and ask to trade links, or so I heard. But so far I haven't found a surefire way to get a favor in return for linking to someone else's site.

I have heard of people emailing and asking for a link exchange, though I'm not sure if it's proper or not. One way is to link to their site and when they get enough traffic from you they may notice and return the favor. That's about the only way I know how.

Mah momma said it NEVER hurts to ask, the very worst that can happen is that someone will say hex no If hearing no is likely to cause you mortal damage... by all means don't ask... if it wont be a real problem for you, ASK FOR WHAT YOU WANT!

I always ask and send out emails and usually get a pretty response. Personally, I get annoyed by the people they write me an email and say they have added my link already. I would personally prefer them to ask first. But, if your serious at all you have to buy links now a days.

There's no harm in trying, whatever there respond is, then at least you try, you can have a good chance of getting appoved if you're site is good.

I use it to ... but it doesn't bring back to much traffic or anything. Just site reviews
