Marketing my website

Hi All

I have a website, which is targetting to a small group of technical audience. I have 400 members signed up and I get regular hits on the site.

I havent had much success with Google ads and I did approach few companies for Ads but no one replied back.

I guess my approach needs to be improved. How do I attract advertisers. What info are they looking for.

I generally send email to the support/info/or whateever contact email is available on site.

The only way I can sustain this site is if I attract advertisers. I am offering a all time low rates too.

why not signup from a few affiliate programs out there like cj, linkshare, reporting.net and get a guaranteed sponsor for your site if you have membership i guess your application won't be denied by these affiliate companies.

I second weblord's suggestion. From these affiliate sites, you can choose the products and services which you think will interest your members and visitors, and you can probably make some revenue from leads and sales.

in addition to what Momo have said, in fact right at this very moment you can signup at adbrite.com and get instant access to their ad codes and with those kind of membership as you said it will take no time at all for you to reach like 5bucks a day earnings just on adbrite clicks.

yes from affiliate products chhose products that your visitors might be intersted and display ads.Also ask members to buy products from your links if they are interested in that product.Also accept donations form your members to sustain your site.if your site is very good and has a loyal base of visitors they might be interested in helping you by donating
