My pet peeve about email marketing is as follows:

Often when I get a snappy new name or even pick up one which i guess someone possibly used to have, I start getting all these emails from MY domain name address, as if these people had accounts there.

Isn't there any way to stop this?

The only solution I can see here is blocking each sender individually, and that only works if you do not use the email addy they chose themselves, for instance, if you block support@yourdomain.com your not going to get any mail from that addy.. however.. I guess your not really emailing yourself are you..
