Most forums these days are based on the programming language PHP. One of the most popular free forum software apps is PHPBB2 (www.phpbb.com). One of the most popular paid forums software apps is vBulletin (www.vbulletin.com).

This board (DDBoard) uses vBulletin. If you google for "forum software" you will find many other forum software applications.

alot of cpanel's have addon scripts or fantastico, if you look inside they tend to have a feww invision power board v.1.3 and its installed in seconds, ready for you to use/edit etc or phpbb, where u can install quickly, go to phpbb website, find mods, install yourself, make ure forums big. and use tutorials to help yourself.

Ya, I recomend vbulletin.com. Its a very professional forum.

I love vbulletin.com because thats what I use for all my forums. But then again phpbb has all those mods you might like. It all depends on what you want, and what you need

yeps adding forum to the site is always a nice idea .. and if your forum is gud enough , then it might become more interactive if people use to come on the forum on regular basis. Then u can also make some mony off it
Code:
www.forumup.com
check this site for making a forum for free ( u may try it )
** but they do put their adsense ads on the top
