Apache is definetly the best in my opinion. It is really fast and stable, has loads of support and is very widley used. I don't like IIS because windows servers have never been good

I like Lighttpd because is faster than Apache

i think Apache is the best.
because it is fast, easy to install and run and les resource consuming.
it is best for PHP + MySQL web servers.

but if you wanna run ASP, then IIS6 is the best.

yes it depends on your usage...
Apache is good for php and mySQL
and IIS is good for ASP
but I voted for Apache web server.

Also you can Use TOMCAT for your JSP and Servlets

Apache rules, by far. ISS is nice, but its windows. Ick. Ive never even heard of Nanoweb or lighttpd.
