For web graphics, I would recommend Photoshop, and if you are looking for free, Gimp. For web page designing, the best is easily Dreamweaver, for its many features, and for free, just google for a free web page creator. If you are aiming to create a professional site, I would recommend getting Dreamweaver and Photoshop. Weblord, I think you are right, I remember reading something on a GFX design website about merging Photoshop with Fireworks. That would be an awesome program! I use The Gimp, and I've never used PS so I can't compare them. I think that it's probably almost if not as good as photoshop, but the problem is that everyone uses photoshop, so all the tutorials / brushes / plug-ins are all build for photoshop, which makes finding good resources for the gimp a bit hard |
